Live Uncommon - Never Giving Up, Always Giving Back.

My name is Jake Hayles and I am a student at Bettendorf High School. I run track and play baseball for the high school.

After learning about what Live Uncommon was all about, I was excited to do something more. Joining the race team to help a cause I am very passionate about made me very excited. The cause I have chosen is Camp Shalom, a summer camp in Maquoketa, Iowa. They do not turn anyone away due to cost, and depend on donations to help send kids to camp that cannot afford it. After going for 9 years and counting now, I feel very connected and want to help.

Any and all donations are appreciated, let’s send some kids to summer camp!
