ANNA FRY - graduating senior at Bettendorf High School in Bettendorf, Iowa and registrant in the LIVE UNCOMMON Adventure Race on June 2nd - invites YOU to join her in the Adventure. The Event is LU's take on the Adventure Triathlon -- students (any grade) RUN (carrying books), BIKE (tricyle, actually) through an obstacle course, SWIM (well, paddle a floatie across a pond), and the FINAL 100 METERS is still a secret, but it does involve BALANCE. LU Team Doctors - OS ORTHOPAEDIC SPECIALISTS - is putting up $10,000 in Scholarships that will be awarded that night at the LU Torchlight Parade Awards Concert at the Isle of Capri old steel shelter.

ANNA FRY's accolades include the Luther College Founders Scholarship and Luther Grant, the Wartburg College Regents Scholarship, Iowa Bar Association American Citizenship Award, Carl Schillig Award and Scholarship, Bettedorf Kiwanis Club Community Service Scholarship, Bernie Saggau Award, Scott Schools Scholarship, AP Scholar, Quad City Times Salute to Academics and Achievements - Humanities, National Honor Society, President's Education Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence, All State Team - Track, All Academic Team - Basketball and Track. ANNA is competing at the State Track Meet at Drake this weekend in Distance Medley, 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 Meter Relay Events.

Part Three - ahh...The Guinness World Record - Biggest Torchlight Parade
Gather up your fav peeps and register as a TORCH TEAM – this is how you become a beneficiary of The Revolution.
Or…
YOU can join up with an existing TORCH TEAM to help them out. YOU DO NOT NEED TO EVEN KNOW ANYONE ELSE ON THE TEAM… if you like what they're up to–what they've got goin on – hey if you want to join them simply because you dig their team name – DO IT, they won't mind, actually they will love you for it. Either way, you've got to be on a TORCH TEAM so…make your own or join one that trips your trigger a little.
And, of course, you can always join the LU TORCH TEAM – we are totally cool with that.
Then…
Tell everyone you know to join your TORCH TEAM. The more who join, the more Give Back your TORCH TEAM will realize.
What does it mean to be a "beneficiary of the REVOLUTION"?
Every TORCH TEAM (a TORCH TEAM can be just you and your BFF, seriously), earns back for their team - $5 per teammate.
In other words – if you have a team of 50 people, you have already made $250 back for your Team. 100 mates gets you $500. 500 peeps makes a cool $2,500. Yep – 1,000 people means $5,000 FOR YOUR PEOPLE. The sky is your limit.
Pretty cool, huh?
So….you can make a:

School Team (High School, Middle School, Elementary, Pre-school, etc – for equipment, good deeds, books, party, anything goes)

Team Team (xc team, track team, swim team, baseball team, whatever – for equipment, uniforms, food, fun, no boundaries)

Teachers Team (you get the gist, right?)

Gaggle of Friends Team (you and your fav peeps want to raise money to donate to a cause of your choice? Or raise funds for a grad party or do what ya will with your funds – you are the ONE who spends the dough – you decide)

Corporate "worky" Team (hey, we know there are some super sweet places of employment out there...you guys can raise funds and donate to whoever, whenever, wherever, however you feel it means the most. So cool, yes?)
Basically, you can make a Team of Anything You Like and spend the funds you raise however you want – YOU are the REVOLUTION.

Search the TORCH TEAMS List by clicking right here and see if there's a team that is already out there with which you want to join your force.
If no such TORCH TEAM exists on the list, start your own when you register by clicking here and let them bring their forces to YOU.

On the 3 mile stretch along the river...
YOU sporting your sweet headlamps in the evening twilight....
Gonna be quite a sight and a wicked cool experience....
At the Finish -- LIVE UNCOMMON will host an awesome concert and party....
LU Scholarship Winners will be announced at this concert....
Biggest REVOLUTION TORCH TEAMS will be announced at this concert.

Set the goal - achieve the MARATHON or HALF MARATHON or 5K (you can DO this - our Race Captain and Road Coaches will get you there)

Run our 7 Series as part of your training (we get you registered and all that)

All 7 Series Events have been selected based on their GIVE BACK and quality race courses (CLICK HERE FOR SERIES EVENTS)

We get you all geared up in REVOLUTION RACE TEAM gear only available to the REVOLUTION RACE TEAM (okay, you KNOW this is cool stuff, right?)

Train with your Race Team Captain, Road Coaches, fellow Race Teammates
